This reminds me of Ray Dalio’s advice: Be radically open-minded.

He also says: “Recognize that decision making is a two-step process: First, take in all the relevant information, then decide.”

He thinks most people get tripped up with the first step because some information may challenge/conflict with one’s worldview or a conclusion they’ve already arrived at.
